Ode to Cold

It's crazy cold here! Last week Mother Nature dropped a ton of wet, slushy snow on us followed by a hard freeze. Our highs still haven't reached the freezing mark, and all that slurpy, wet ... stuff (fill in appropriate expletive) are now flattened out sheets of ice or huge ice mines waiting for you to accidentally drive over.

My son Paul's wife's car must have hit a few too many of those street bombs because when they went out to warm up the car after a visit, they found half the bumper on the street. Egads!

And Erin's been complaining about how hot it is in Kaua'i.

Poor baby.
