Mockingjay - Additional Commentary

I'm part of a book group that has been discussing this series online. Here's a comment that I think says a great deal for me (much better than I expressed it myself):

Another friend of mine put it very well. She said that she felt like Collins took us very far down the rabbit hole, but then didn't pull us all the way out.

That's exactly how I felt - like there was too much violence and not enough hope to bring it back to balance.
