I'm really surprised at the number of people who have had this Lasik procedure. I went yesterday and had my eyes examined again. I needed to go nearly a month between taking my contacts out and going under the "knife" (figurative for the laser) because it's been about 40 years that I've been wearing hard lens contacts. In the examination, the doctor said my cornea had thickened, which is a good thing. Hard contacts can flatten and thin the cornea. If the tests had shown the corneas had thinned, I might be a candidate any longer.
I've never taken Valium before, and I'm hoping it's as good as they say it is, and I won't really care about what their doing.
